Step into history at our unique event venue in the heart of De Waterkant, Cape Town. Located at 28 Jarvis Street, this iconic building was originally built in 1855 as a Baptist church and has since played host to a rich tapestry of Cape Town’s cultural and creative history, including being the home of the Photographic Society from 1890 to 2016. With its high ceilings, elegant wooden floors, and beautiful arched windows, this historical space offers an unmatched blend of character and charm for any occasion.

 

Whether you're planning a corporate event, photoshoot, workshop, conference, or art exhibition, our venue is a versatile canvas that adapts to your needs. We can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests and provide modern amenities, including chairs, a professional sound system, a big screen for visuals and presentations, and a coffee machine to serve exceptional brews for your attendees.

 

Our space is available exclusively by booking and is not open on Sundays, as we reserve the day for our church services.
